Snacks You Can Binge on in Office

When you are working a 9-5 job, consuming healthy snacks that keep you full for an extended period of time is very important. Business owners or big conglomerates should stock up their pantries with the best evening snacks for employees, this keeps morale and energy levels up amongst them. Eating snacks on a regular basis increases productivity and efficiency in an office. It even promotes bonding among employees during snack time.

Here are some of the snacks you can munch on during office hours:

Protein chips: Instead of munching on normal potato chips which are full of saturated fats, and oil, you can grab a pack of protein chips which are generally baked. They contain healthy ingredients like ragi, oats, quinoa, urad, jowar, sorghum, and other ancient grains.

Hummus: Hummus is made from boiled chickpeas which means it is a filling snack. You can have it along with protein chips, or even pita. It is a delicious dip, which is also a healthy snack. 

Boiled eggs: Boiled eggs are protein rich snacks that can be had with any meal.

Homemade granola: You can store granola in your drawer whenever you need a quick snack. Store bought varieties are often high in added sugars, unhealthy vegetable oils, which could lead to inflammation. It is very easy to make your own granola at home, you can sweeten it with honey or maple syrup and add fresh seeds, nuts like almonds, cashews. You can bake it in your oven at home for a wholesome, balanced snack, which is rich in fiber, good fats, and complex carbs.

Dried fruits: Fried fruits like anjeer, grapes, cranberries, dates, kishmish are good for overall health.

Greek yogurt: Greek yogurt is available in many flavours like strawberry, blueberry, cherry, however these flavours are full of added sugars and artificial flavours. It is way more healthy to eat the plain, unflavoured greek yogurt. It is full of probiotics, and good bacteria which aid in digestion. You can even add fresh fruits, sliced nuts on top for a different taste each time. It is also convenient to carry around and available at all supermarkets. You can store it in the fridge at work. Popcorn: Popcorn is a nice hot snack, which you can easily make at work, if there is a microwave available. You can get it in different flavours like peri-peri, cheese, and caramel, so you have a variety to choose from.
